Quotation Comparisons – Grid Columns

The following list describes each of the columns found within the Quotation Comparisons window and outlines which fields are editable and which are read-only.

NAME

DESCRIPTION

Indicates if a Quotation Comparison is currently being edited by another user or yourself (in another window).

When locked, the Quotation Comparison becomes read-only.

Note: This column is read-only.

Name

This column allows you to enter a unique name or identifier for the Quotation Comparison.

This name will be displayed in the Comparison Name column in the Resource Explorer against each resource associated with the comparison.

Description

The Description column allows you to provide a detailed explanation of the Quotation Comparison.

# Quoters

This column shows the number of quoters available within the comparison.

# Resources

Indicates how many resources have been included in the Quotation Comparison.

This number is automatically set and is updated as resources are added or removed from the quotation.

Note: This column is read-only.

Selected Quoter

This column displays the name of the quoter that is currently selected as the ‘preferred quoter’.

By default, this will display “Original Values” indicating that you are using the original values for the resources included in the comparison.

Selected Quote Total

The Selected Quote Total column displays the total value of the selected quoter for a Quotation Comparison.

This is automatically calculated and set when a quoter is marked as ‘Selected’.

Note: This column is read-only.

Percent Difference

This column displays the percentage difference between the currently selected quoter’s value and the lowest value within the comparison.

If the selected quoter is the lowest value in the comparison, the Percent Difference column will represent the difference between the selected quoter’s value and the next lowest quoter’s value.

Note: This column is read-only.

Selected Quoter Status

The Selected Quoter Status column provides a brief overview of the status of the currently selected quoter.

This status includes how many resources are currently unpriced by the quoter as well as how many resource prices are used from alternative quoter.

Note: This column is read-only.

Quotation Status

The Quotation Status column indicates how complete a Quotation Comparison is.

This displays the number of unpriced resources across all quoters within the comparison.
